The Virginia Mae Scholarship is a Christian-based book scholarship that was created in 2022 by Ms. Jasmine Osborne, CEO of Bella J Custom Designs. After turning her hobby of creating gifts for others into a business, Ms. Osborne decided that it was time to step out and start something that she had been passionate about for years. That passion was helping students with their college expenses. Thus, the Virginia Mae Scholarship was born. It was inspired by her paternal grandmother, Alice Virginia, and her maternal grandmother, Frankie Mae. Both of her grandmothers constantly prayed and encouraged her to stay in and do good in school. 

Their prayers and encouragement ultimately led to her attending and graduating from college. All glory belongs to God for praying grandmothers and answered prayers. Now, Ms. Osborne pays it forward by offering this scholarship to assist in furthering the educational studies of the upcoming generations.
